On Monday, April 11, 2022, Verde Ranch Estates was named Land-Lease Community of the Year – West at the Manufactured Housing Awards at the MHI Congress and Expo. All Excellence in Manufactured Housing winners were honored throughout the three-day conference in Orlando, Florida. MHI received over 80 entries which were judged by independent industry experts.

The Land-Lease Community of Year award focuses on the quality rather than size of the community. Categories considered were occupancy rates, resident satisfaction scores, turnover rates, and improvements made throughout the year.

Verde Ranch Estates welcomed its first resident in September 2020 and has quickly grown. Phase 1A of the neighborhood is almost fully occupied and the neighborhood is excited to welcome its first resident in Phase 1B later this spring.

Created in 1975, the Manufactured Housing Institute is the only national trade organization representing all segments of the factory-built housing industry. Its members include home builders, retailers, community operators, lenders, suppliers, and affiliated state organizations. As a non-profit, MHI hosts educational conferences, coordinates lobbying before the United States Congress on issues relating to manufactured housing, compiles and publishes data relating to the industry, and provides marketing and public relations support to raise awareness of manufactured housing.
